Our greatest strength is our people: an experienced, dependable team who know the work and work well together, from the office to the site. We’re based in Hillington, close to the M8 and the wider motorway network, so we can reach clients quickly and efficiently. As part of a growing group, we can draw on wider resources, equipment and expertise for every project.
What we deliver:

- Full carpet and shockpad replacement on existing synthetic pitches.
- Planned and reactive maintenance and repairs.
Our pitches are built to FIFA Quality, FIH and World Rugby Regulation 22 standards, and we work regularly with industry-leading suppliers.

1919
Fairways Sportsgrounds Ltd has roots stretching back to 1919, when John R Stutt established his landscape and sportsground construction business in Barrhead, near Glasgow.
1968
Alistair Rae joined John R Stutt Ltd as Contracts Manager in 1968 and took over as manager in 1969.
1981
Following a management buy-out in 1981, the business was re-branded as Sportsgrounds Ltd and later became Fairways Sportsgrounds Ltd.
2004
The dealership was established in 2004 as Fairways (GM) Ltd and has quickly grown into a business known for excellence in its delivery of product and service.
2025
In 2025, CY Turf acquired Fairways Sportsgrounds, bringing together two established names in sports surface development.
